Looking out my window at around 1:30 every day is a visual delight as the sun rakes across my off-white brick wall and shadows from the trees on my patio cast dancing diagonals. This is certainly inspiration for me and very well could show up in one of my next artworks. That said, yesterday I and tens of thousands of other people walked across the new 'Tilikum Crossing' Bridge Of the People spanning the Willamette River yesterday on just about the most perfect afternoon imaginable! The passing clouds cast subtle silvery shadows over the white cables and towers in an absolutely stunning and mesmerizing way. This span is a true winner in my book of things to do around town.

Just beginning my crossing from the west side on over to the east! The towers can be seen in the distance with their silvery cables in the afternoon sunlight. Stunning!
